November 2016

Touring the North West was like riding in a hot air balloon after adopting a new puppy while juggling, ice skating, and eating chocolate cheesecake ice cream all at the same time. Never in my life have I felt so many emotions all at once.
Gratitude.
Anxiety.
Joy.
Fear.
Excitement.
But most of all, an immense love for being able to do something that keeps my heart beating for a living. It feels good to be a little anxious, a little scared, I think that is when we grow the most- Just a little bit outside of where we feel safe, comfortable.

It was such an honor to open up the show for Blues legend Carolyn Wonderland at The Belfry in Sisters, OR. She was so ridiculously talented and equally as kind and generous. It's so important to surround yourself with people that inspire you and she does that for me and so many others. Her band mates Kevin Lance and Bobby Perkins also inspired me to be the best musician I can be and to be as welcoming and warm towards all as they were towards us. I look forward to the idea of meeting them on the road again and sharing time, music, and a stage in the future should our paths cross.

I'm also looking forward to getting this record out!! We are ready to get some more work tapes and demos recorded, especially because we have some time off. I wrote a new song the night before last and I cannot wait to share it with you. I am thrilled to get this baby recorded and put into your hands.

I got a new guitar! I love her and she's pretty and she's my friend. Her name is Pearla.

Peace, Love, and Pogo sticks
